Marcia Levy has continued to inspire others through her generous efforts to give back to her community through public service acts. Now, as the Executive Director for Pro Bono Partnership, a tri-state group that recruits volunteer attorneys to help nonprofit organizations, Levy has found that by helping even one nonprofit to grow, she can help hundreds of people whom the organization serves.
According to the New York Law Journal, at the start of her career, Levy had a growing interest in prisoner rights and aided her passion by helping people in New York City prisons whose living situations were unsafe and fighting for their conditions to change. Levy has contributed her efforts here at NITA by participating in many of our programs as a Director, Faculty member, and Speaker. By being a part of NITA’s programs, she is able to reach out and help more people.
NITA’s team of practicing lawyers, professors and judges from around the nation dedicates its efforts to the training and development of skilled and ethical legal advocates to improve the adversarial justice system.
