Kindle Fire Winner: Kenya Burnett

Posted On , By

In October we announced the launch of our first NITA Publications that were released as e-books. To celebrate, we ran a drawing to give away a Kindle Fire. On November 1st we randomly selected the winner. Kenya Burnett, a Staff Attorney at Public Benefits Practice Group was the lucky winner.

“Thank you so much for the Kindle Fire. I look forward to all the exciting things I can do such as viewing NITA’s Practical Guide to Federal Evidence.

I am a legal aid attorney with LAF (formerly Legal Assistance Foundation). I practice in the area of public benefits where I represent people living in poverty in their claims for social security disability benefits, Medicaid, SNAP (supplemental nutritional assistance program) and TANF (temporary assistance to needy families). I also represent clients who have had their HIV status disclosed in violation of the Illinois AIDS Confidentiality Act.

I am sure the Kindle Fire will be a great asset for work and play. Thanks again.” – Kenya Burnett

We are extremely excited to be able to offer e-books to our NITA readers, and we have more titles being released this month. You can see the full list of available titles here!
